What does the 10% commission apply to?
Every successful booking made through Gigeazy — venues, rehearsal spaces, musicians and music-related businesses. It is deducted from the booking amount when the payment is captured, so the payout you see is the payout you get. It applies on every plan, including Freemium.
How does escrow protect me?
Payments are held in escrow for protection on both sides of every transaction. The client's money leaves their card up front, but it stays with Gigeazy until the event is delivered. The client can release it early by confirming delivery, and it releases automatically 48 hours after the event if nobody raises a dispute.
What if something goes wrong with the booking?
The client can raise a dispute at any point before the funds are released. That freezes the hold — the automatic release stops — and our team reviews the booking before any money moves.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes. Paying yearly costs the equivalent of ten months, and you can change plan or cancel from your subscription settings at any time. Cancelling keeps your plan running to the end of the period you have already paid for.
Is the Freemium plan really free?
Yes — ₦0 a month, forever. You get basic networking and limited access to the resource directory. Paid plans unlock advanced filters, the full directory and, on the Business Plan, a dedicated account manager.
